The other night I was reading the PEW study on the use of mobile, smart phones and tablet devices. (OK after I finished that I also read the new James Bond novel.)
Over 35% of all cell phone users are smart phone uses. (This number is set to double in only a few year.)
50% of all searches are now in being done on a mobile device.
It will be the primary search device in less than two (2) years.
Mobile in its purist form is Direct Response advertising. They are searching for a very specific reason or search.
If you place a QR code on you ad you ad will have a 22-27% higher intent to respond then if you do not have one.
The stats are overabundant to continue to prove to you that you need a mobile strategy. In fact if you do not have one now you might be two late.
